Efficient Measuring
Measuring money is counting pieces of money, coins and notes, as payment or return.
The most efficient counting and measuring (of weight and money) is binary by measure pieces in positive and negative powers of two of a given commonly agreed standard, so that each piece is preceded by its half and succeded by the double.

Every state can propose and apply for his own additional currencies.
Advantage
The ISO, the United Nations or any other social demoscratic or respublican inter state community should define and administer our future standards.
Every state can print and use its own coins and notes in the preferred currency without losing inter changeability.
Of course there should be some color, weight, metal, paper and size standards at least.
And money changers would not lose their work and jobs. Every state could officially admit every or only his own and few special strange coins and notes.

In this case the number of coins and notes is reduced and the penny accuracy a little bit higher, but the cost of pieces and time for counting any price is higher.
The dollar, the euro and many other cutrencies use similar money scales.
